This week I received word that I was voted 2011 BEST PARTY ENTERTAINER in Silicon Valley.  Many thanks to all of you that voted for me.  I appreciate it.  I am excited to win for the third time over the past four years.

The award is ”icing on the cake” for all my hard work.  But, what’s more important than winning an award is maintaining a passion to perform, creating memorable experiences, and giving people a reason to care about what I do.

Speaking of awards, I will be competing at the Oakland Magic Circle Inter-Club Competition on Sept 6th.  I will be representing our San Jose Magic Club, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 216.  I am excited to debut my new stage act.  I’ve first competed at the Oakland Magic Circle back in 1983. (Wow, that was a long time ago!)

You can also see my new act at St. Joseph’s School Family Carnival on October 1st and 2nd.  This is a wonderful event.  The carnival features rides, games, live entertainment, bake sale (I always take home a cake) and great BBQ.  It’s open to the public and a fun, casual atmosphere.  I will be performing a 30-minute show, ”under the big top” at 1 PM both days.  You will see some really fun routines that I developed just for the summer shows.
