I do my best to get your order out the door in a timely manner. I will ALWAYS keep you posted as I build your product and estimate a shipping date. Most of the product I sell is built to order. I also have a busy performing schedule and travel at times.
NO RETURNS will be accepted without PRIOR authorization. Contact Phil Ackerly first and explain the situation. We will gladly accept returns due to manufacturing defects and make repairs as soon as possible. Any damage from use or abuse will be the buyers responsibility.
As you probably realize, when we sell a magic effect, in addition to the various apparatus, gimmicks and gaffs, which may be included, we are selling the SECRET of how the effect is accomplished. Once you have learned the secret you obviously cannot simply return it as you would most products. In fairness to those who have purchased such information from others or us and who rely on this secret knowledge in their performances, we are very careful about protecting the inner working of all effects we sell. For this reason we cannot accept returns unless under the condition stated above.

However, ultimate responsibility for purchases rests with the customer. It is the customer who has the best grasp of his or her own needs and capabilities. Our preferred method of shipping is USPS Priority. If you wish a different carrier or a faster delivery, contact me and I’ll figure the shipping costs.

To return your product, contact me first to get authorization.
You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Please pack it up good to reduce any chance of damage. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
